Death is not a Medical Event

Not more than a hundred and seventy-five years ago, death was a natural part of life. How did it become an institutionalized medical event? How can we return it to its natural, sacred place in our culture? Our humanity depends upon it. We will examine how the change occured and discuss ways we can create a shift back toward reclaiming the sacredness of dying.
